Twinky is at the vet
Twinky is at the vet tonight, awaiting her desexing tomorrow. I feel far more apprehensive than I expected to, although the vet gave all the right answers to our questions, asked us the right questions, and gave us the standard "There is a risk involved.." speech, although he assured us that he hasn't lost a rabbit yet.
I am hoping that she comes back a slightly calmer bunny, with less destructive tendencies (she has ruined carpets, linoleum, blinds, electrical cords, etc, etc).
The vet said we can call at around 5pm tomorrow and she should be ready to come home then.
She definitely wasn't happy - this is her first vet visit, and of course there had to be a huge dog there when we arrived, whining and barking. When we finally saw the vet, she jammed her feet against the sides of the carrier and refused to budge. This is a bunny with a brain! ;)
