I finished DH's hat. I'm

I finished DH's hat.

I'm pleased with it, and I assume he is too, as he hasn't taken it off since I finished it. Mind you, it has been freezing here today, so I can't blame him. It's made with Jo Sharp DK in Pistachio, and it took two 50g balls. The brim is double, and the i-cord is knit and sewn on last. I knitted it at a looser gauge than required as my DH has a big head :)
So I now have a sock on the needles and that is all. It has been a very long time since I've had only a single project in action. Jill let me know today that she got some 12mm needles for me, (yay! she's my lifesaver! :) so hopefully I can get gauge on those for Em's Katia cardi.
I also have not yet finished Charlotte's edging. I've been mulling it over and I'm not sure what to do. None of the edgings (although they are gorgeous) in Knitting On The Edge grabbed me for Charlotte, but I don't feel confident enough in my crochet skills to crochet a border either. Maybe whilst I'm in a knitting slump I should practice my crochet until I feel confident enough to face Charlotte.
