Next to no knitting to

Next to no knitting to speak of, so I think I'll talk about reading. I used to be a voracious reader, but I find now that the only time I get to read is in bed at night, and I tend to fall asleep after a few pages. I'll read almost anything, but I like horror, true crime and sci-fi/fantasy best.
I joined the Anna Karenina readalong, but I've kinda stalled on that at the start of Part Three. I'm not disliking it, but I'm not loving it either. On the other hand, I received "Song Of Susannah", the lastest Dark Tower book by Stephen King last week, and I read it in four days. The final instalment comes out on September 21, and I'm dying to get my hands on it.
Today I borrowed "Queen Bees and Wannabes" from the local library. It explores teenage girls, their behaviour, cliques, boyfriends and the like, and apparently helps the parent to understand. Can you hear me whimpering? Even after all these years I don't know that I'm ready to revisit all that! I think I've blocked out most of High School. ;)
So that shall be my reading matter for the next week or two. Then I'll pick up Anna Karenina again!
I've had a few queries about Twinky's continuing good health. I tried to take a picture of her today, but she wouldn't stay still long enough - this is all I could get.

Rest assured, all is once again well in Bunnyland :)

Glad to know Twinkey has fully mended. Re books about teenaged girls, there's a really good one called "Reviving Ophelia" by Mary Pipher. I think it might go well with the one you've just read. Wouldn't it be great to be able to knit and read at the same time? Take care, Pam
