When you're having a crappy

When you're having a crappy day, everyone needs a friend like Jill.
Whilst I was whining about my crappy day yesterday, I failed to mention that the high point of the day was going to the Post Office in the morning to pick up a big box of yarn from Jill!
And then I got to the Post Office this morning and there was a fat envelope from Jill!
The perfect medicine! :)
She sent yarn, yarn, and more yarn yesterday, and today there were magazines (yay!), needles for that silly Katia cardigan (12mm straights and a 10mm bamboo circular), a Suss poncho kit and a little Origami kit for Em.
So I got to spend the morning drinking coffee, reading knitting magazines and swatching the Katia. And ignoring the housework. I even got pretty close to gauge on the Katia with the 10mm bamboo circs. Note that I didn't get gauge, but seriously, you all would have been surprised if I did, wouldn't you? Hell, *I* would be!!
Why didn't I spend the morning finishing the Cloverleafs?
Because I finished them last night!

And with the help of my blogfriends and the tips and pointers, I even worked out the Kitchener stitch for the toe. YAY!!!!

Nice feet and so stylishly covered! You have gotten yourself one heck of a supplier there! Three cheers for Jill! :)
And I'm glad that I had company avoiding the housework from all the way across the world! Less lonely that way! :)
I absolutely love the cloverleafs! The color and yarn are fab!

I love your pink socks--what size needles are you using? I'm working on US1's and it's taking me forever--you are definitely a sock inspiration..
