I'm making huge progress on
I'm making huge progress on the Katia cardi for Em. Funny how 10sts/inch will do that ;) I've done the back, and have done around 3" of the front.
I haven't knitted with a tape yarn before, and I'm finding it a little frustrating. It keeps twisting up and having to be untwisted. At first I was being careful and making sure the yarn was staying flat and even around the needle, unraveling the twists every row. But, being the torally impatient person that I am, I said "To hell with that!" and I'm now just knitting normally with it. It doesn't seem to look an awful lot different, and the gauge is still the same.
It's just my sanity that's healthier :)

I'm not a blogger...but a passionate knitter all the same. I am about to start the last sleeve of a top I'm making using the Katia Denim Pastel Dream that I found at Elann.com. I was down to two balls when I started my first sleeve and had to cut into my last ball to finish that. So...I have the one sleeve to go and I know I'm going to run out of yarn 7/8 of the way through. I'm desperately seeking one more ball of that yarn...or even half a ball should do.
So hey...if you find yourself with even just half a ball when you've finished your project...I'll buy it from you! Else I'll make the top sleeveless or shorten the sleeves maybe? The pattern promised I only needed six balls...and I took a chance and actually bought six balls. Lesson learned.
Thanks...had fun reading as well.
