Just a quickie tonight. I'm

Just a quickie tonight. I'm so tired I feel like I need to prop my eyes open!
Here's the progress so far on my Making Waves sock. I'm kinda glad I didn't redye it, I'm pleased with the colour so far.

Mind you, knitting socks on 5 dpns, and using another as a cable needle is enough to send you batty!
I'd like to say that I'm going to stay up and watch the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games, but it's on at 3.30am local time! So instead, my "Cool Socks, Warm Feet" book came from Threadbear, so I'm going to bed to read it and be inspired :)

Love the color! It really shows off the cable. Wendy has a tutorial on knitting without a cable needle..it makes things easier if you can figure it out (it takes some practice).
Cool socks is a very cool book! Enjoy!!

I keep seeing this sock everywhere and it's lovely! It does sound like a bunch of little sticks all over the place though! BTW, I love your blog!

Beautiful color for Making Waves. I'm also doing the same sock and after seeing everyone elses, I don't love mine as much. I love how yours is varigated but not busy! :)

It's alien green! My favorite shade of green!

Gee, now when I start knitting socks (I'm planning on trying them as soon as I get some of my other WIPs out of the way) I need to make myself some alien green socks...
