I am developing an unhealthy

I am developing an unhealthy obsession with this.

butterfly.jpg

I've been seeing it on blogs all over, and it's calling my name. Julie posted the pic of hers finished and it's gorgeous! Wendy has started one, and it's flying off her needles. (What doesn't fly off Wendy's needles? :)
So I took the first step today and bought the book off eBay. I have only used Kureyon for a Booga Bag, but I really liked it.
The problem is that since I posted the evidence of my stash, instead of getting through it, I've added to it. I've bought some teal coloured sportweight wool, earmarked for Bonne Marie's Lacy Poncho. I won sock yarn from Brenda, I bought lace weight for the Flowerbasket shawl, some DK weight silk/alpaca/mohar/wool blend just because, and Bliss sent me that gorgeous cotton blend.
So much for using up stash!
And I really can't afford the Kureyon right now. And I have projects out the Wazoo waiting in the wings. Including plenty of projects for me, which I keep putting off in case I can lose more weight.
But the Butterfly is calling my name.
My name is Donna and I am a newprojectaholic.

Blogs tempt me all the time! I itch to start a new project..it's so exciting to see something come together while finishing is the death of me! :-)

I'm with you on this - I already have the book, purchased for York for me and Fitzgerald for my DH, the yarn is on it's way for them both. I absolutely don't need to knit another thing right now, I'm swamped, but Butterfly is speaking to me...

Not only are you a newprojectaholic, but an enabler, too! That sweater is gorgeous...which book is the pattern in?

I have to ask where does this pattern come from? It looks simply divine.
And are you the same Donna who welcomed me to the ring? If so, a big thankyou back to you for having me!

Suzi.

I have to also ask what book this pattern is in. I have also seen this many time and I think that I also am going to have to break down and make it like I need anything else to make.

Thanks in advance!!
