I'm having a serious case
I'm having a serious case of the blahs. I feel like I have nothing interesting to blog about, I can't get seriously involved in one project. I work a few rows of one thing, then work on something else. I still have two more costumes that need adjusting before next Monday, I have my niece's Formal gown here that needs to be hemmed before Friday. I just can't get motivated to do any of it.
It was extremely windy here yesterday, and I felt a bit edgy, perhaps it's just hanging around a bit. High winds always set me off for some reason.
Finished socks! I finished the Fluted Bannisters, and there is more than 2 weeks for the deadline, Yay me!! :)
I've done six repeats of the Flower Basket Shawl. It still looks very small. I know it's not a huge shawl anyway, and it will block out bigger, but I still think I'll do one or two more repeats than called for.
I blocked the stripey sweater this evening, and I've started seaming it up. I got the sleeves in, now it's just seaming the stripes. Don't let me do stripes again in a hurry :)
Blah, blah.
Oh, and this is my 200th post. Yay!!

Really, really, really cute socks.
I can't seem to finish any project. I work on something for awhile, then I see something else I want to do.
I have a friend who made the Flower Basket Shawl, and it's very lovely.
Posted by: Vera at November 15, 2004 03:14 AMOh oh Donna, this is the second case of the blahs I've read about this morning. I hope they're not contagious. I've got too many deadlines looming ahead...including my Fluted Bannisters. Maybe if mine were as great looking as yours, I'd be more motivated. I received your RAOK yesterday, and I'm as tickled as can be. What a terrific gesture from you, especially to send overseas. I've added your blog to my sidebar list so I'll be sure to find you regularly.
Posted by: Sharon at November 15, 2004 03:28 AMME TOO! What's going on? I think I have too many deadlines and it's wearing me out before I start. Love your fluted banisters - they are terrific!

Hope you can kick those blahs in the, well, you know. [g]
Posted by: Michelle at November 15, 2004 11:24 AMSounds like me too! I get distracted so easily and have so many projects going, working on a little here and there on each that it seems to take forever to finish one of them. I am weak!
