Can you see me doing

Can you see me doing a Happy Dance? :)

Wendy from Catknits sent me a Gift Certificate to Elann, so I can get some sock yarn. That doesn't count as yarn buying does it? It's a gift :)
Perhaps I should just hang on to it, and keep an eye on the stock at Elann, and if the stock goes low, order it, and if it doesn't, I can order it on Easter Sunday. As if it'll last that long ;)
Thankyou, Wendy!!

So I think we're due for some updates. DH's weight. Well, it seems that I may have been overreacting. Although we have only been watching his weight for 2 weeks, his weight has remained pretty steady. It goes up a little and goes down a little, but it's generally staying around the same figure. I even went out and bought some scales so that he is using the same scales every time. But I'm still making him watch it until the end of the month. Thank you everyone for all your support, it really meant a lot to me :)

Knitting!
Em's cardigan was travelling along well. Was.

I got this far, and I only had 80g of yarn left. Not nearly enough for sleeves. So I rung up Nundle Wool Mill on Monday and ordered 2 more balls. They arrived yesterday, and they seem to match pretty well. There was no dyelot on the cone to match, but these look alright. I will knit the sleeves in 2 rows of wool from the cone, and 2 rows from the new balls, to minimise any shade differences.
Happy Friday!

I'm glad to hear your husband's weight it holding steady - you must be relieved. He's lucky to have someone that loves and cares about him so much.

Lovely cardi for Em and I am very relieved to read that your husband's weight is still stable. Yea for that new scale. And the feeling of relief!

Glad to hear that hubby is not losing any weight. You keep an eye on him though! :-) Em's cardigan is such a lovely pink. When you use 2 different balls on the sleeves, do you have a lot of ends to weave in or do you just carry the other yarn up the side?
