Finally, I've packed up the Dulaan project offerings!

Seven hats and six pairs of mittens! :) I had planned more, but as usual, I went astray. The parcel will go out tomorrow. I have a few things here waiting to be mailed off to different people. Unfortunately, postage in Australia can be pretty expensive, and my purse hasn't been up to it. :(
An update on the other news, the police guard finally left an hour or so ago. Neighbourhood rumour has it that apparently they were pretty sure the lady had died of natural causes, but there were a few things that didn't look quite right, so until an autopsy was done, it was being treated as suspicious. Everything must've been okay, because an hour or so ago, they pulled down all the police tape and left.
Things are apparently back to normal. Not that things are ever "normal" around here! ;)
Twinkie has found a new favourite spot.

It's best to check before you yank out a kitchen chair now :)

What a doll! I think lops are the cutest of all the rabbit types. Whenever Peaches is under the table it usually means she is eating the kitchen chair. :)

A lovely box of Dulaan offerings, and I hear ya on the postage thing. It's gotten awfully high here, too. I didn't even dare ask how much it cost for that last box I sent out on Monday.....(had the husband take it in.) I did keep the postage receipts, though, too, for charitable deductions on the income tax. Not sure if it works the same way in Australia.

Good for you getting your Dulaan package ready to go! :) I love the little mittens. They're sweet.

I'm glad to hear everything is "normal" again in your neighbourhood. :)

You know - I kept seeing all the Duclan projects you were knitting but until I saw them all in one spot I didn't realise what a star you had been! Donna -you have outdone yourself.

I have just finished a pair of fingerless gloves for a friends daughters birthday (will be giving them to her today (her birthday), I have them pictured on my blog. They are knitted in Cleckheaton Country with Feathers trim. They look great as do the ones you have knitted for your daughter.
