Wanna see something scary?

That's my lovely 12 year old daughter, fresh out of bed.

Same kid, 40 minutes later, full stage make up, minus red lippy. Scary, huh?
Well, she competed at the big comp today. No place, but she did an excellent job, and says she enjoyed herself immensely, which is the most important thing. Here she is, ready to go on.

No knitting updates today, this has sort of taken over our lives for the past day or so, so next time, I promise.
Here's a hint - the lacy baby cardi is done :)

My goodness, she looks VERY pretty! So very grown up too! Do you think we can get away with freezing our children so they stay our babies and never leave home? LOL ;c)

I think she looks gorgeous! Not at all too made up, like some kids I see at my cousin's dance recitals. Like their mothers are Mary Kay re[resentatives showcasing the entire spring collection...I digress...

The pink baby cardi you knit is absolutely fabulous. Wish it came in a grown-up size...and you'd knit it for me..*smile*!!
