And then there was a monkey.

monkeydone.jpg

Em hasn't seen him yet (she's at school), so he has no name until this afternoon. He is a little wonky, and I took off the tail because I didn't like it, but apart from that, he's done. I might knit him a scarf or something, I think he looks a little cold ;)

He looks great and a lot like curious george...can't wait to hear his name!

He's adorable! It would have taken me a week to sew in all those ends.

AHHH! He is adorable! I think I may NEED one! :)
Hope Em loves him!

He's cute and I agree. He looks cold and is definitely asking for a scarf.

So cute and what a great job sewing up...the patience.

I think he's very handsome, and that he may need a scarf, cos' there's still a chill in the air. If Em doesn't want him, I'll give you my address! (I seriously doubt that she won't love him to bits!)
Cheers!

He's cute! I'm wondering what was wrong with his tail, though....Maybe replace it with some simple I-cord? Or not--he's adorable just the way he is!

He turn out great! I don't see anything wonky about him. Really good job.

He's adorable. And yes, I think he's asking for a scarf!

He's adorable! I think a scarf would look handsome on him. Something in yellow or blue -- or both maybe! :)

Too cute!! Worth all those pieces...tho I don't think you'll be seeing anything like that from me! I'm too lazy! ;) Love the shawl tho....

He's soooo cute! I can't wait to find out what his name is. I have a monkey at home and he was wearing a knitted hat (it started out being a sock) for a while and absolutely loved it! I bet this monkey would love to stay warm and cozy in a scarf & hat set!

I have that pattern but I just turned the page, not usually into knitting animals but after seeing yours I might reconsider, I can't wait to see what Em names him and of course her reaction to him, my 12 yo DD would 'go off' over him.
