Holy Guacamole, Houston, we have a problem.
Ouch. As soon as this happened, I caught the stitch and very carefully set the knitting aside. After an hour or so, I picked up the knitting, took a picture, then repaired.
I feel better now :)

I've got that same shawl on my to do "menu", so I'm right there with you, feeling every pain.
Posted by: La at September 17, 2005 03:07 AMDidn't get a chance yesterday to tell you how beautiful your shawl looks! I wish I could reach out and touch it. It looks so lucious and soft all curled up in a ball. Now I want one too!!!

Posted by: Vicki at September 17, 2005 03:42 PMIt is the most beautiful shawl I have ever seen, so soft and lacy, the color is perfect. I just love it! Were did you get the pattern? Tink

Posted by: Kerstin at September 18, 2005 10:47 AMWoah Donna, I would have been distraught! Now I know who to come to when I stuff up my lace -I'm such a beginner I just dont have the feel for getting all those yo's etc picked up. I'm impressed! I won't make it to snb this month which is a shame cause I'd love to catch up again... Happy knitting :-) Stripey

Don't you just hate that when that happens, but you did the sensible thing, put it aside and pick up again later when things don't seem as bad :)
