Still here, slogging along!
The Feather and Fan shawl is growing at a very, very slow pace, but it's growing. I am about to start the final increase row, which will put me at 1320 stitches per round.
No wonder it takes me all night to do a round!
I gave in to distraction though, and did the second clue of the Mystery Shawl 2.

It's a miserable, cloudy day today, so the pic isn't the best, but it's clue 2 all done. I haven't touched the gloves, I really am trying to finishe the feather and fan.
The postman came, and he brought good things :)

My friend Jill sent me magazines and the new Knitting Pattern A Day calendar. Thank you, Jill!

And a new friend, Joan sent me a new circ when she heard I was having difficulties with my shawl. Thanks, Joan! :)
Now I can't stay here blogging, I have knitting to do!

Hi, how does the 2006 Calendar rate against the 2005 version? Would you say "buy it"?

Thanks for any input!

Emy--I think the 2006 callendar is slightly better than the 2005.

Donna--Congrats on finishing clue #2! I tried, all day Friday, and finallyripped the whole thing out in frustration. I've gotten some advice, so I should be ok now. I hope. But I'm still working on Kiri, so....I'll find out when I get the darned thing done! Lol!

Good for you for sticking with the F&F shawl (with only a minor distraction). You've put too much work into it to lay it aside.

Wow you have been busy - I just can't believe that shawl!! It's such a wonderful thing. I do hope you let me touch it one day. Thanks for your great comment about a new tiger cub. I love it! :-) Stripey
