Well, it definitely ain't sunny and bright here at Casa del Random this morning.

Thick as pea soup, people. That pic was taken at 7.30 this morning, it's now 9.30am and it's still just as bad. And it's cold.
I opened the back door for Twinkie, who usually goes bounding out first thing, and even she stopped at the door and turned and gave me her "What the f*&@?" look. I'm sure she wanted me to go out and chase it away, like I do with the birds.
Good day to sit and knit, I think.

The gloves are coming along, the flower on the first one is finished.

The colours aren't as bright as they appear here, but I had to use the flash.
I've also been working on the second beaded sock.

I've only just had to join in the second ball. I always seem to get great yardage from Lorna's Laces, and it's just so yummy to work with.
The costume sewing goes on and on. I still have 48 or something left to do, but I have until October. Of course, I use that as an excuse to put it off, and then I fall behind again. The sewing machine is out in the kitchen, and it's just too cold to sit out there some days.

While I was taking pictures of the knitting, I saw these little guys on the back fence.

Poor things, I told you it was cold!!
Twinkie thinks it's a better idea to hide inside today.

She's the cutest bunny ever! Can you let her out without her running off? I have no clue about bunnies but she sure makes me want one like her too! I love hour gloves. I love your socks, girl I love your knitting! (And I would like to have your weather for just one day please) - no rain here. So hot!

It was foggy here too, but dark as well. I had my car lights on at 8-45am!! We have rain though!! Hurray!!!

I shall be on your doorstep just as soon as I can get a flight from CA to Australia. Freakin' hot here at the moment and I haaaaate it.

I also want to play with Twinkie, and watch you knit these fab things. So it all works out, no?

If only you knew how I covet your bunny.

I don't know how you do it. You always seem to fit so much into each day.

Those socks are absolutely scrummy. I can't wait to use my LL's yarn for the first time. I bet it won't be the last time I use that yummy stuff. Mmmmm!

The mitten's looking fabulous. I love fairisle knitting.

Can't blame Twinkie for wanting to stay in. I don't wanna go out in this cold weather either. Brrrrr!

Perfect weather for knitting, so just knit all day long. Stay warm.

How could you NOT knit booties for those little legs???

Those gloves are gorgeous! If it stays that cold, you'll have to knit faster!!

Seems like you have similar weather to us. It has been drizzling all morning here. The sun was out earlier, I think just to fool us into thinking it was going to be nice out. I love your beaded socks and the colorway is gorgeous. Cannot wait to see them finished.
