My friend Jade is on vacation right now, and she sent me a postcard which I recieved today.
Jade always sends the most lovely cards, and they never fail to bring a smile to my face. Isn't it funny how such a small thing can make such a huge difference in someone's day?
I love receiving cards, postcards, notes. So much, that I keep it all.
Yes, all of it.
If you've ever sent me a christmas card, birthday card, letter or even a handwritten note scrawled on a scrap of paper, I appreciate every piece, and I still have it. From family, friends, bloggers, strangers, it doesn't matter.
I think I'm going to have to face the fact that I'm a hoarder. Or a sentimentalist.

I'm a sentimentalist too. It's fun to go through them once in awhile. I keep the ones that bring a smile to my face, and trash the ones that bring back bad memories.

Posted by: tianne at August 3, 2006 12:01 AMDefinitely sentimentalist!
Posted by: Meaghan at August 3, 2006 09:46 AMI kept everything also, until I moved in with my boyfriend and decided to throw it out. Reading your post brought it all back - so I'm going to start collecting again.

Postcards are fun. I do tend to keep those more than other cards and notes. I even look for old postcards in antique stores. I like the ones that have pictures of sheep.
