Saturday sky!
It was a bit iffy today - nice, then cloudy, nice then cloudy, but the clouds were pretty. (Before they turned grey!)

It made a nice change from yesterday's constant rain, and I even got some laundry done.
A great deal of time has been spent playing with the new camera. It's going to take me a long time to learn how to use all these buttons and dials.
Twinkie has been the subject of a great deal of this experimentation.

David is of the opinion that this pic proves the sun shines out of Twinkie's butt.
This is my favourite.

Em showed off for the camera. (Fancy that! ;)

I did get some knitting done, though.
I've temporarily tossed Icarus aside. The constant repeats of chart 1 are driving me a little batty. I'm too impatient to knit for hours and see little or no change in what I'm knitting.
So I cast on for Ene's Scarf from Scarf Style.
Impatient? You have to cast on 375 stitches! I'm consoling myself with the fact that the rows will get shorter with this one though.
You need to use a double strand to cast on. Be warned that you should be careful when using two ends from a centre pull ball for your two strands.

I think it took me longer to unravel the tangles than it did to cast on the 375 stitches.
I'm using some Fibreworks Possum/Merino laceweight that my friend Meaghan gave me, and it's just lovely. I don't usually like variegated yarns for lace, but this one is nice and subtle.
I'm up to row three, and down to 371 stitches already!

Bunny sunshine! LOL!

What kind of camera did you get? Man, Emily is sure flexible! I think I hurt just from seeing that! I've gotten my yarn all tangled before and I just cut it off because I get so frustrasted untangling it.

Thanks for visiting! I love your bunnies! I've wanted to knit Ene's scarf, too.

What a gorgeous sky you have today (at that particular moment, anyway)! Cute bunnies, and oh, how I long for the days when I could put my leg on the wall like that. It's been a long time.

The sun shinning out of Twinkie's butt is hysterical! Oh, and tell Em, she makes me tired-har!

No fair, now I have to hurry and cast on for Ene too! And I am not even done with FBS #2. But I am going to see Nancy Bush next week. Maybe I should snap a photo with her and the scarf beginning and my book?

Nice sky shot and Twinkie is adorable!

It certainly does look like the sun is shining out of Twinkie's butt. ;) That split by Em looks painful *ouch*

Big OUCH!!! Painful manouvers by Em require warnings in future.

That yarn is soooooooo pretty.

I am planning on knitting Ene as well - have bought the wool - the one recommended by the pattern in deep red (my favourite colour) - am just waiting on my ball winder, which I bought from eBay (so as not to subject my husband to 45 mins of holding a skein while I wind by hand) - can't decide whether to cast on as soon as I can or if I should try and actually finish one of the 8 projects I'm currently knitting!

Love the bunny. I have the yarn for Ene too and have been thinking of casting on for it also. Icarus too is going around in my head. I told myself to finish Birch but I think I am in start something new stage which I did last week, casting on another Landscape scarf for my mother. I love the color of the yarn and can wait to see it knit up.
