Ene is done, and blocked.
I'm really pleased with it, and I think this is the nicest variegated lace weight I've used.
Specs
Pattern: Ene's Scarf from Shawl Style.
Yarn: "Fibreworks" Possum/Merino Laceweight
Needles: 3.5mm Inox grey.
Cece is goming along nicely. Well, she was, then I somehow added in an errant yarn over. And cotton is not forgiving.
Sorry for the bad pic, black knitting doesn't photograph well at night.
I tried to just drop the extra stitch down, but because the yarn isn't very elastic, it wouldn't go back into shape. So I frogged back eight rows, and put her aside, and there she sits, in time out.
I thought I'd take a video of one of Twinkie's little rituals.
Every time I sweep the floor, she chases the broom. Then, once I've made a nice little pile, she sits on it until I brush her.
With the hand broom. I'm not allowed to sweep up the little pile until she has her brush.
Mind you, she won't let me brush her at all with the slicker brush!

Oh that cute bunny video!!! LOL!! Dust bunny, I like that. :) Kim is going to love watching it. She fell asleep on the couch this afternoon. I'd say she was tired after that sleepover.

Posted by: Lindy at September 5, 2006 02:04 PMThat is so funny...how did she ever get into this routine of sitting on your pile so that you have to brush her? What a curious habit!
Ene is incredibly beautiful. I'm sorry CeCe is in time out...I'm going to put my serpentine stole with her so CeCe will have company. She misbehaved badly tonight! :)

Posted by: kylie at September 6, 2006 08:05 AMIsn't it funny how our pets train us to do all these funny routines?? But that's why we love them.
Ene looks lovely!
Posted by: Janice in GA at September 6, 2006 09:48 AMOh what a gorgeous bunny Twinkie is. I love it. By the way is Cece hard to knit, I just printed out the pattern, then read your blog and realised that you were knitting already. I had forgotten that you had started it. Maybe I need to contact Meaghan for some Cascade Sierra cotton to knit it in. How many balls of it are you using for Cece.
Posted by: Sue at September 6, 2006 10:46 AMSo I may have watched that video three times. It doesn't mean I'm not still hard as nails. Not a bit. Really.

Your lace package is on its way! I shipped it via airmail, (after all it's crossing a substantial sized ocean,) and it should be there soon. Enjoy!
Where's you learn to train humans, Twinkie? Hrmph. I gotta take that course.
