Told you!
No 14 year olds were hurt in the process of obtaining this picture. (And just in case you're wondering, it's almost entirely staged and yes, she's got it now!)

Posted by: cathy at July 21, 2007 12:09 PMBwahahaha!
I still haven't picked up my copy - on my way now :)
Posted by: Lara at July 21, 2007 02:56 PMYep it's like that at my house too. I did debate getting two copies, but decided it would be just as easy to send Miss B to bed and run off with the book tonight:P
Posted by: Carol at July 21, 2007 03:23 PMYour family is so much more restrained than Rudi and I are. We bought two copies...
Posted by: sprite at July 21, 2007 07:13 PMROFL! I pre-ordered my copy--it should be delivered today. And I'm not that worried about it. :)
Posted by: Cathy at July 22, 2007 12:09 AMOMG! Now that's a GREAT photo!

;)
Cute picture!
Posted by: Diana at July 22, 2007 09:40 AMI thought David agreed to let Em read it first? LOL
Posted by: Lynne at July 22, 2007 02:41 PMWe're getting our copy in the mail but we did see the movie to tie us over! My hubby is a slow reader so I probably won't get to it till months from now! Good thing we don't have a kid who wants to read it or we would need 2 copies.
Posted by: Evelyn at July 23, 2007 03:19 AMWell, I finished and I'm not happy!
Posted by: DKM at July 23, 2007 12:13 PMMost amusing!!! Hope you are feeling better soon. Love the jumper- you should wear it as it is!!!! Happy Goal Weight!!!
Posted by: 2paw at July 23, 2007 05:10 PMAnother reason why I'm hoping a friend will purchase and read it... less queuing! Having said that, I may well just cave and get it next pay... along with spotlight sale!
Posted by: Sally at July 23, 2007 10:23 PMMy husband and I had a simpler solution: we bought two copies. We're now broke, but it seemed worth it at the time! Besides, he reads too slow...

Just got our copy 1.5 hours ago & Lynette has not put it down - same situation - Lydia is urging her to read faster so that she can read it too!
