Guess what?

We've just booked airfares to the USA.
We'll arrive in New York on December 21. We'll be in Washington on December 29. We'll be in Las Vegas on December 30. We'll then go to Los Angeles on January 1. Then Honolulu on January 9, before we come home on January 18.

The amount of money I just spent makes me feel a little sick. In a good way.

Wow, what a trip! I hope you get to see some of the country outside of the cities. I'm really jealous of the the Honolulu portion of the trip.

I am a short subway ride from DC I live in Alexandria, VA I would love to hook up with you in D.C. if you do not already have plans! Show you around a bit :-)! Let me know...Cheers!

I echo Stacy's comments. If you have a spare moment to visit in DC, I'd love to grab a cup of tea.

But even if you don't, let me know if you want suggestions for restaurants, etc.

And congrats on booking such a fun-sounding trip! I'm so jealous!

Ohhh that sounds like the ticket. Make sure you get quotes on container shipping, it may be cheaper than your excess luggage full of yarn!

Wow, that's going to be quite a trip! I can't believe you'll spend NY Eve in Vegas - I heard it's CRAZY!!! And of course, Hawaii will be awesome. I'm going to the Big Island in a few weeks and can't wait. Very different from Honolulu of course. Los Angeles will be nice and warm that time of year. We usually go down to LA to visit my inlaws for Christmas. Where in LA will you be? This year, I'm not sure what our plans our since our baby will be born around Thanksgiving. Let me know once you've firmed up plans and maybe we can meet up!
