I'm in love!
Super quick flyby post!
I'm in love. I'm up to the cuff on my first Kitri sock, and I can't put it down.
Beads, lace, Zephyr, I'm in looooove. I have about a milliom things I'm supposed to be doing today, and all I want to do is work on this cuff.
I think this confirms that I'm long overdue for some lace.
And the toe is just as gorgeous.
It's very cleverly constructed so that the fans go all the way down to the toe.
Love. It.

Posted by: amandaj at June 7, 2008 09:01 PMThat is an amazing looking cuff, I can't wait to see how it looks when finished. You want lace, well I can give you lace, how about a baby shawl with that many stitches on it you can't even count them, and takes around an hour each row. I still find it hard to fathom that they call most types of pattern knitting lace knitting, I have been lace knitting forever then. I always thought it was some intricate very fine knitting that looks so lacy. But nearly everything baby knitting (well traditional baby knitting) is apparently lace knitting. Most of what you knit is lace to me, not what I knit.
