Day 20
I have not abandoned the Marina Piccola socks!
As you can see, they're coming along very nicely. As I have mentioned countless times before, I usually have three projects going at any one time, a garment, socks and lace.
Right now, I'm working on Evie (Cardi), The Marina Piccola socks, and I have no lace. I do have the half finished tea cosy. My aim is to finish that before I start any more lace. I really should start working on it then, so I can finish it, huh?
I'm watching lots of people start working lace for Bells' Unofficial Summer of Lace, and I'm getting jealous!
In Daily Twinkie news, tonight Em and I tried to give her a bow.
That was the not only the best picture I got before she ripped it off, it was the only picture I got.

Posted by: wendy g at October 21, 2008 12:26 AMOh, I totally needed that Twinkie pic. I can just imagine how she dealt with being Ribboned!
(The socks are lovely too, by the way. I'm not just here for the rabbit.)
Posted by: CraftyGryphon at October 21, 2008 02:17 AMYou should join in! You do great lace. I'll never forget watching you manage what looked like a fairly complex lace pattern at camp, all the while talking and drinking!
Posted by: Bells at October 21, 2008 08:34 AMOh poor Twinkie.
I haven't official joined Bells LAL; but I am trying to finish my shawl.
Posted by: Lorelle at October 21, 2008 11:12 AMI love the socks. Just added them to by queue on Ravelry.
Posted by: Lilikoi Knits at October 21, 2008 10:56 PMThe socks loook great & it's good that you have not abandon them. You are doing very well in posting daily, I can't even keep up with reading all the posts!
Posted by: Ann at October 22, 2008 11:29 AMlove the socks, the color and the pattern. I can only do one project at a time. Did finish a baby hat to go with Juliets sweater, just need to add the buttons. Now working on a multi-directional scarf. Pictures to come soon.
