Marilinda!

I succeeded in getting my April socks done in April.

Hang on, let me try that again.

Forget it, I'll use the table.

Marilinda! Unblocked, and I'll imagine they'll look even better once they're blocked, but otherwise complete!

Specs:
Pattern: Marilinda by Cookie A
Yarn: Mama Blue Sea Merino in "Mermaid" (Much stalking took place to obtain the yarn!)
Needles: Knitpicks Harmony DPNS, 2.25mm
Mods: The only mod I made was the toe. Cookie has you do the shaping every second row until the end, I like my toe rounder than that, so about halfway through I changed the shaping to every row.

Many thanks to Bells for grafting the first sock, and to Kylie for listening to me complain that I had the wrong number of stitches. (Lots of times!)

So, moving right along, Em picked out my next Personal Sock Club Package for me.

Nice choice, Em! Sundara sock yarn in "Pink Dreams". This is going to become Rivendell socks.

But first I'm picking up Aeolian again!

Truly lovely.

I am not going to finish my sock club pair in April. Anniversary socks, a cardigan and other things distracted me. Glad to hear someone has managed to squeak in under the deadline.

Rabbit, Dog, Cat: they all want to be in the FO pictures. Love the colour of your socks!!

You finished! Hurrah!

Love the Rivendell pattern, think it will be great in the sundara!

Absolutely splendid Personal Sock Club timing! The Marilindas are indeed linda (pretty). The Rivendell pattern is very reminiscent of William Morris Arts and Crafts designs - very clever, and the pale pink is lovely. Not sure why, but I'm currently finding pastel coloured socks very appealing.

Yay, you got the done in time. They look great.

I didn't get my April socks done. Sick kids and a husband away really leaves no time for anything.

Such pretty socks. They look amazing unblocked anyway.

And your next ones are Rivendell?! Such a lovely colour too. I've been dreaming of those socks for months now. Looking forward to seeing how yours turn out. (And whether I should treat myself to some nice yarn and the pattern after all).

Another pair of gorgeous socks. I can never do grafting without looking at instructions & that's why I knit my socks toe-up. Great choice of pattern for May's socks. Happy sock knitting.
