What I've been working on
This is what I've been working on.
20ply on 9mm needles, and cobweb weight on 2.75mm needles. Despite what you may think, the cobweb is easier!

20ply! I'm currenty working in ten ply - it's thick enough!
And I also noticed something else - it's not pink; that must mean it's not for you! LOL
Posted by: Lynne at June 8, 2010 09:32 PMI usually have to switch between the big and little needles. Sometimes, the little needles just feel better.
Posted by: Suzanne at June 9, 2010 09:59 AMI have to agree about the cobweb being easier. I find bulky yarns harder and slower to work with (though, in real life, the do get finished a little quicker).
Posted by: Kate at June 9, 2010 02:08 PMYou've started! How exciting...
Posted by: ailsa at June 14, 2010 11:19 AMI hate big needles. They're so hard to knit with and the progress is slow!! Smaller needles are definitely much easier and faster too!! :D

I couldn't agree more with you about the fine knitting being easier (especially on the arms and hands) than the bulky.
