Olivia, schmolivia
Olivia.
Olivia, olivia, olivia. You're making me crazy. Double moss stitch and acres of stockinette on 3.25mm needles will do that.
I have a back, two fronts and am maybe halfway up the sleeves. If I'm feeling optimistic. I've been knitting sleeves for days, and it doesn't change. The end feels no closer than it did a week ago.
So I took a detour down another road. A Road to China Light. Squish factor +100.
The colour is Carnelian - a little browner than I'd hoped, but still gorgeous. From The Loopy Ewe, in the process of becoming a Frukttradgard Hat.
Take *that*, Olivia!

Heh, I love how we punish our knitting by doing other knitting!
I do love that Olivia pattern though. You can do eeet!
Posted by: RoseRed at July 14, 2012 09:11 PMI have so much yarn in the stash for small gauge sweaters but I'm wary of the stockinet the too. Good luck with yours. It looks like you're more than halfway done!
You are doing great & more than half way done. I am sure you will be done soon. I do enjoy stocking stitch if it's the round as purling seems to take a longer time.
Posted by: Ann Lim at July 15, 2012 02:51 PMRoad to china light!!! It's on my wish to squish list! Love the colour as well, I must see this next time.
I empathize! I'm considering knitting myself a jacket but do I really want to knit acres of stocking stitch?
But you are almost there, in the words of an old song, "go on girl, you can do it!"
